1. Who we are

Freklo ("we", "us") is a loyalty app for local businesses, developed and operated by the Freklo team in Yerevan, Armenia. This policy explains what information the Freklo iOS app and the freklo.com website collect, and how it is used. For anything unclear, write to frekloapp@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — your name, email address and, if you sign in with Apple or Google, the identifier those services share with us.
  • Loyalty activity — the programs you join, your points and stamps, rewards you earn and redeem, and when this activity happened.
  • Business information — if you run a business on Freklo: your business name, category, program settings, logo and Wallet-pass artwork you upload, and your team's roles.
  • Device information — a push-notification token for your device and app-integrity signals (Apple App Attest via Firebase App Check) used to protect the service from abuse.
  • Support messages — what you send us by email.

This website itself does not use analytics or advertising trackers, and does not set marketing cookies. The language you pick is stored only in your own browser.

3. How we use your information

We use this information to run the service: keeping your loyalty balances correct, showing businesses their own customers, delivering notifications you've enabled, keeping Apple Wallet passes up to date, preventing fraud and abuse, and answering your messages. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. Where your data lives

Freklo is built on Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage and Cloud Functions). Your data is stored on Google's infrastructure and processed under Google's data-protection terms, and may be processed on servers located outside your country.

5. When information is shared

  • With the businesses you join — a business you join sees your name and your activity in their program (points, rewards, visits). They never see your activity at other businesses.
  • With service providers — Google (Firebase) and Apple (sign-in, notifications, Wallet), only as needed to run the service.
  • If the law requires it — when we are legally obliged to disclose information.

6. Apple Wallet passes

If you add a loyalty card to Apple Wallet, the pass contains your name, the business, and your current balance. Apple delivers pass updates to your device; how Wallet handles passes on your device is governed by Apple's own terms.

7. Notifications

Push notifications (points added, rewards unlocked, team events) are optional. You can turn them off per category inside the app, or entirely in iOS Settings. Notification device tokens are stored server-side and are never visible to other users or businesses.

8. Your choices: export and deletion

In the app, under Profile → Your data & security, you can export a copy of your data or delete your account. Deleting your account removes your profile and memberships; records a business is required to keep for its own accounting (for example, anonymized activity totals) may be retained without identifying you.

9. Children

Freklo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

10. Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, we update the effective date at the top of this page. For significant changes we will also let you know in the app.
